- Hold, or be eligible to hold, an Australian practising certificate;
- A genuine interest in legal practice, together with patience, responsibility and a commitment to long-term professional development;
- Strong legal analysis, research and problem-solving skills;
- A high level of attention to detail, together with good time management and organisational skills;
- Strong communication skills, a client-focused approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- The ability to progressively develop the confidence and capability to manage legal matters and client communications independently;
- Chinese and English language skills will be highly regarded.
